OSSSC PEO Eligibility Criteria 2024

Interested Candidates must check carefully OSSSC Eligibility Requirements for PEO Vacancies before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria such as Age Limitation, Educational Qualifications & Physical Standards are as given below: –

1. He / She is of sound health, active habits and free from any bodily defect or infirmity rendering him unfit for such service.
2. His / Her character and antecedents are such as to qualify him / her for such service.
3. He /She possesses the academic and other qualifications prescribed for the post.
4. If married, must not have more than one spouse living.
5. Must be able to read, write and speak Odia fluently and:
   • i. Must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as language subject, or
   • ii. Must have passed HSC Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as Medium of examination in non-language subject, or
   • iii. Must have passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above from a school or educational institution recognised by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Govt, or
   • iv. Must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha.

OSSSC PEO Education Qualification 2024

The candidate should possess the prescribed academic qualification as on the date of this notification. The date of this notification shall be the crucial date for calculating the experience including the practical experience. In respect of other than prescribed Educational Qualifications, claiming equivalence, the decision of the concerned department shall be final.

OSSSC PEO Recruitment Age Limit 2024

The Candidate should check and verify the following age limit for this job before applying for it. A detailed description of the age limit for OSSSC PEO Requirement 2024 is given below.

Selection Criteria For Panchayat Executive Officer

1. The selection of candidates shall be strictly on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 Mark.
2. Provided that in case two or more candidates secure the same marks without 4th optional in +2 level or its equivalent examination, the candidate older in age as per date of birth in HSC certificate (within the stipulated age limit) will be placed above the younger.

Panchayat Executive Officer Pay Scale (Salary)

The Eligible Candidates should have complete information about the salary which will be given for the post of Panchayat Executive Officer. Panchayat Executive Officer salary on contractual basis for a period of one year.

• Salary – Starting Rs. 21,700/- per Month up to Rs.69,100/- per Month.

2. Recent Passport size Color Photograph (“jpg/jpeg” format with file size 20 kb to 100kb)
3. Full Specimen Signature & Left /Right Thumb Impression of the Applicant (“jpg/jpeg” format with file size 20 kb to 50kb)
4. Scanned document must be in “Pdf” format between ranges of 100kb to 500 kb.
   • Matriculation/ HSC Certificate.
   • +2 Certificate (CHSC & its equivalent).
   • Aadhaar Number
   • Valid Caste Certificate (SC/ST/SEBC category candidates)
   • PwD certificate issued by Unique Disability Identification (UDID) for PwD Candidates.
   • Discharge Certificate/ Identity card/ PPO for Ex-Service Man Applicants.
   • sports identity card issued by Director of Sports and Youth Service Department for sports person category.
   • NOC (No Objection Certificate”) in case of candidates working in Government Service.
5. The candidate should ensure that the scanned Photograph and full Signature, Left/Right Hand Thumb Impression and other relevant documents are clearly identifiable/ visible. Otherwise, the registration and application shall be liable for rejection. No correspondence on this account shall be entertained.
